i'm now a real part of the blogging world.

I did it. Took the plunge. Jumped on the bandwagon. A bazillion years after everyone else, but still.

I'm legit at last.
I bought an iPhone.

Not even the iPhone 5, mind you. I don't have that kind of money. Heck, I really don't even have the money to buy the 4S. I was happy to settle for the 4 at the price tag of free.

But alas, our huge local AT&T store sold out of them {duh} by the time I finally decided that yes, I probably should have a new phone that fits my new {wannabe} creative super-mommy lifestyle.

My trusty BlackBerry only fit in when I was an accountant from Washington DC. No business person living there would've been caught DEAD with an iPhone. And I swore I would never become one of those people.
iPhones, schmiphones.

But here I am. A blogging, DIY-obsessed, stay-at-home mama living in the 'burbs with a husband, dog, and baby. Owner of an iPhone and adoring that little white rectangle already. How much I've changed.

What about that old BlackBerry?
S will be delighted to know that she can now play with "baby" and not even get in trouble.

{And guess what? Tomorrow part 2 of my birthday giveaway extravaganza is going LIVE! With three separate giveaways to enter--that means three winners. Tell your friends & come back tomorrow to enter!}

  1. Isn't it funny how blogging takes over your life?? hahah. I have a Droid but will be taking over my husband's iPhone 4 (no S, no 5 - we too are on a budget :) when his company upgrades him to the 5. He's spoiled!

    1. I know! I seriously would've never thought I would have a blog, much less get so into it. It's practically like a job {although I love it, and I don't get paid for it ha}. Lucky hubby! At least you get the benefit of his phones when he upgrades :)

    1. That was me my entire life until yesterday. I even used to despise the iPhone! I admit I did love my BlackBerry, but it just wasn't cutting it with the apps anymore. Thank goodness I was due for an upgrade!

  9. lol I love iPhone! I had the iPod Touch before getting an iPhone and was amazed at the actual value of the iPhone, afterwards. You're essentially getting a really great iPod (big memory), but for the smaller iPod price... oh, yeah, and it's a PHONE! lol :D Apple also has a ton of stuff in iTunes :) I didn't have the money, really, when I got mine, either. I had to buy a phone, because my LG got broken and I chose the iPhone, because I already loved the iPod. My only suggestion to you: Get a durable case, because you/the baby will drop it... even, if you don't mean to. My case has been really good to me & my sweet mama bought the same case for hers :)

    Welcome to iWorld!

    1. Oh, by the way, mine is a Ballistic case :) There are OtterBox ones, too. It's more of a personal decision (I based my decision off of the sale price). They are really, really similar. Mine has been dropped around 10 times in the past year-18 months and it's just fine. It looks brand new outside of the case, which is great for resale value, if you ever wanted to resale it to upgrade (I usually don't, but a ton of people do.) The rubber part of the case helps with shock absorption. Ya know... I could of used all of this as a blog post lol. Amazon is a great place to check them out, for sure ;)

  14. Lol, I still don't have one! I have an iPod and that's good enough for me. I mostly use it for downloading game apps for my 3 year old lol.

  15. I just only have the iphone 4 and am happy to stick with it. I honestly ask myself, "wow, i can't believe that it can actually get better than this if I get the 5". either way, i have no plans to get the iphone 5 any time soon. welcome to the club!
